Burning sensation inside the foreskin

Dear Dr. Allan Rockoff,

During intercourse with my wife, 20 days back, at the initial stage she rubbed the pennies roughly and I felt pain, ignored, and during passing urine that night itself felt burning sensation. The next morning I woke up with burning, puffy(slightly inflamated) rash inside the foreskin of my pennies. Though that may be some infection as it happened( almost similar) before also. Took some antifungal tabs. And applied Clobitasol ointment, also applied Betnovate-N. But after so many days, the burning sensation is still there, Observed that inside there are whitish spots,lumpy, have some pain, and during urine passage it seems that there are some cuts, or wounds which not healing. Recently I was taking some Vit-B, complex with biotin and Calcium. Please advise for its fast healing.

These symptoms are due to friction rub or chaffing of the penis. Chafing occurs when the skin becomes irritated by the friction caused by rubbing – either against other skin or against a foreign material. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.Also wear cotton undergarments.Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful.If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist
