Hello,
It can be due to contact dermatitis, allergic reaction, viral rash, hives or shingles rash if it is painful blister like lesions. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Topical calamine lotion and mild steroid cream also helps. In case of any itching please take some over the counter antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. In case the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist in that case.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Thanks for the information, but now I don't really feel any pain around on my breast anymore. I just have rash that covers a large area on my chest and going down to my breasts. Could it just be a regular rash or an allergic reaction maybe?
Hello, I just saw your post re: breast pain, and rash. I would seriously consider physically seeing a medical practitioner. Your symptoms fit with something called "Inflammatory Breast Disease", while your age group in at a fairly low risk for cancer, approx. 4000 young women in the US, under the age of 20, were diagnosed with breast cancer last year.
