Chigger bites? Maybe? Please help!!!!!

I went on a family vacation to Tennessee. We did horseback riding, tubing in the water, campfires, caverns etc. I did notice I had some bites but didn’t think anything of it thinking they were mosquito bites. I am now 3 weeks out from my vacation and these bites are not going away! Everything that I’ve looked up says chigger bites, but they’re not going away! There were 16 of us and only 3 of us have these. I’m literally going crazy by the itching. They become very swollen when I itch and nothing seems to help. Then they seem to go away, swelling goes down and then boom they start itching again and they’re back in full force! I’ve tried Epson salt bath, chamomile tea, vapor rub, hydrocortisone cream, ice packs...please help! What is this? They’re mostly from the waist down on all of us. Itch all the time but definitely worse in the morning and at night. I can’t afford to keep going to the doctor for them to tell me they don’t know.

Feel like chiggers but no red dot in center? Several neighbors got this. Steroid shot and 6 days of prednisone along with rubbing on cortisone cream and Lamisil in case it was a fungus. It finally cleared up a week and a half after shot. My brother only used Triamcinolone cream and it cleared in a few days. Is something airborne...maybe from chem trails. None of our doctors ever saw anything like it. Mine looked like mosquito bites that enlarged and turned to welts. Ones on feet were small red dots that looked like ant bites with no ous. I had NIT been outside much
