Constant Eyelid rash

I think I have a dermatits or dandruff or ecezma on my left eyelid.  (At its worst it was slightly red with flaking, but normally just flaking of skin).   I first noticed it about two months ago.  It responds to 1% hydrocortisone.  I used it lightly in the morning and night for 7 days, but after stopping a little less than a week ago, I woke up with some flaking in the same place again.

It just seems like it won't go away and I can't keep using hydrocortisone from what i understand.

I changed my face soap, stopped applying lotion, etc...but its only one eyelid.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

It sounds like seborrheic dermatitis, which affects the eyelids, among other places.  Cause unknown.  It comes and goes, for no reason.  You can keep using 1% hydrocortisone, as needed, unless you have cataracts or glaucoma.  Check with a dermatologist on this, to be sure.

Best.
