Dr.,
I posted in early December about a recurrent acne like infection on the butt. At that time you suggested it may be a staph infection of sorts. My Dermatologist did a nose swab, and the results came back as psudomonas, and I completed a dosage of Cipro, and used neosporin in the nostrils.

One of the bolis has come back however, approximately as big as a fingertip, and is somewhat painful. I went back and had a culture of the actual infection taken (results unknown), but as the doctor said the drainage was just blood, that I am probably dealing with a cyst that may need to be removed. As I'm guessing this may be a somewhat painful solution, I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!

Surgery isn't needed very often for cysts of this kind.  Usually medical therapy (soaks, antibiotics) are enough.  I wouldn't be in a rush to have it cut, and don't think you'll need to.

Best.
