Do sun spots appear over night?

I had a deviated septum and reduction of turbinates 11 days ago.  Yesterday I went out to run some errands, I live in California and the sun was quite hot. At night I noticed a semi round tan spot on my nose. Is this something that appeared as a result of the sun exposure to the tender skin? or will it go away soon? Please help, I am concern.

Hi, Thanks for answering my question, but I have some more.
What is the best sunscreen you'd recommend?
I regards to my sunspot( or tan circle with a line in the middle), would you say it may have nothing to do with the sun exposure from yesterday? You think it will go away?

Thank you.

May be some antiseptic applied during surgery made your skin sensitive to sun.It should settle down.Just apply some good sunscreen.
