Does anyone have suggestions for treating morgellons lesions?

I’m still trying to find a doctor willing to treat me and I feel like I’ve tried everything imaginable. Desperate for some relief!

Are you dealing with anxiety as well?  Have you been to a psychologist to assist with the anxiety?  Some believe this condition is caused by anxiety or similar things- a physical condition brought on by the mental stress. I’d try that route if you if haven’t.

I do have anxiety and I do take medication to treat it. I think there’s a significant mental health factor for sure, but I do not believe that anxiety/stress is the cause. I think it’s a symptom, as well as increased depression. I think it’s an infectious systemic disease that stems from long-term untreated Lyme disease or another tick-borne infection. Not everyone gets it but 98% of those who have it, also have Lyme disease. Bartonella has been detected in a large percentage of Morgellons lesions, as well as Borrelia-burgdorferi.

I also suffer from Morgellons disease. I have had it for about 2 1/2 years now. It was ground breaking when the Strickler research papers came out last year. I finally understood that I had late disseminated Lyne, and other coinfecctions. I also got lab results showing I have funnelformis mosseae.  I started seeing a LLMD ( Lyme litterate MD.  I could not find a physician to treat me in Florida. I did see an alternative doctor in Orlando, but felt he was only after money. I now have to go all the way to D.C.  to see my doctor, but I am slowly improving. The best thing to do in my case was to that the underlying infections. I can tell you that the sores are difficult to treat. I have had some success using  tinactin to dry them up, and Epson salt concoctions can help get rid of toxins. It is a really hard disease to deal with, and so little us know at this point. I wish you success!
