Dry white patches in bikini line

I get this white dry patches in my bikini area around where the edges of my panty goes on my inner thighs,it also flaky but when I wash it or wet the area the whiteness goes away, but once it gets dry it's white and flaky again, I also put petroleum jelly on it and it help hydrating it, is it because of dryness? And should I keep using petroleum jelly to help moisturizing it?

If it's right where your clothing hits, it's probably an irritation/dry spot from that- if the petroleum is helping- stick with it.  If it stops getting better, you can always head to the doctor for a more definitive diagnosis and treatment plan.

What causes dry patches? And how can I treat em other than. Vaseline?
Alot of things can cause dry patches- skin conditions like eczema, friction rubbing the area raw, excessive amount of sweat in the area, possibly even not keeping the area clean- how to treat it depends on the cause.  Again, if what you are using is helping- I'd stick with it.
