Extreme bruises on legs only!

Hello, I’m a 33 year old female. I am very athletic, yoga, Pilates, ballet, and eat healthy. I also take a number of supplements daily, but I can not seem to figure out why I bruise SO BADLY on just my legs! I’m too embarrassed to even wear shorts! I get bruises all the time out of nowhere, and I’ll even get mosquito bites CONSTANTLY and just scratching them lightly will leave horrible looking bruises. They are never anywhere else on my body, just my inner and outter thighs, and lower legs. I don’t know what this is! I’ve tried more B vitamins, and even vitamin K! It may be an iron deficiency, but the problem with iron is that I can not take it in pill or liquid form. I can not have iron in a multivitamin either. Iron makes me extremely ill. I tried iron pills in the past, or a multivitamin with iron, and it makes me horribly nauseas with burning stomach pain that will make me vomit repeatedly! I don’t know if I have some sort of allergy to iron, or what is going on! I do not have any other symptoms associated with anemia or iron deficiency! Although, I have had bad nosebleeds since I was about 3 years old. These nosebleeds come out of nowhere, and they take a very long time to clot! Could this possibly be a clotting disorder?

It could be some sort of clotting or vitamin deficiency- as you were thinking, but there are a ton of other possibilities of why you may bruise easily.  You need to have some blood work done by your doctor to get you on the track of a solution.  Get in for an appointment and let us know how you are!
