FACE SCAR

I had an accident about 11 months ago wich leave me a face scar, wich after operation and by now is very much less noticeable, it is about a little less than a midle finger long and about 2 cm  wide, and it is not deep.
I have been recomended to use RETIN-A 0.025, wich i have using about 3 weeks ago.

Will this help to make the apearance of the scar less noticeable or improved in any way?

I have also been recomended, but have not use yet an SCAR MANAGEMENT PAD [silicone pad], do you think they will be helpful?

What would you recomend to improve the apearance and make this scar less noticeable?
Thank you and the very best of days.

Facial scars tend to get better on their own.  Retin-A, used daily for 3-6 months, seems like a good idea.  The silicone patch is hard to keep up with.  Another choice is Mederma, an over-the-counter cream which contains an onion extract reprted to help.  But mostly it's tincture of time.

Best.

In my opinion, Retin-A wouldn't do much in your situtation, it is mainly used to get rid of acne, and help lessen the effects of scars caused by acne.
