Finasteride 1mg Sexual Side Effects

Does taking Finasteride 1mg for long term for treating male pattern baldness , have any effects on baby.I've stopped Finasteride for over 1 yr after taking it for more than a yr.If i get married and plan to have a baby , will there be any genetic health problems in the new born.

I hope someone sees this, im sorry but one of the questions not asked is how strong are the side effects, libido, impotence, decreased ejaculation , are we talking 20%, or 50%

Hello,
It is true that majority of the side effects of Finasteride are sexual like impotence, decreased libido and decreased volume of ejaculate but since you stopped taking this drug since the past one year so it will not have any effect on the fetus. This drug is however contraindicated in pregnancy.
