Fluocinonide cream vs. Triamcinolone Acetonide cream

How do they differ.  I have contact dermatitis, the Dr. prescribed Fluocinonide cream usp 0.05 by TARO, I also have on hand Triamcinolone Acetonide cream usp 0.1.  Are they interchangeable The rash is getting larger and itches as it grows.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Triamcinolone acetonide is a synthetic corticosteroid used to treat various skin conditions and has been reported as better as compared to Fluocinonide. Side effects like hair loss, burning and skin blisters are common after using fluocinonide.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
