Gabapentin side effects

How long after taking gabapentin will the side effects last. I have hair loss. I stopped taking gabapentin about four or five months ago.

I found that it does cause alopecia on line under dematological side effect. Quote infreguent alopecia. It was a website at Drugs.com. i was not the only other person that had these side effects.

I too have found out that Gabapintin does cause hair loss. I have very thick hair and had an operation two months ago, I have been taking Gabapintin for a few months because of a torn muscle in my thigh but about 2 weeks ago my hair started coming out by the 8 ounce glass. That's how much comes out after I wash it, and condition it, so I plate my hair and condition and oil it. But when I take the plates out it comes out in the comb I want to cry. My hair is and always have been healthy. I have a knee and hip that I am walking on bone on bone also a torn muscle. Sometimes I just so bad I just pray and cry. I will not take these pills anymore. I will have to take something else for pain. It does take your hair out.
