Genital area fungus??

HI, I'm a truck driver, and about 4 or 5 months ago, I developed what I think is a fungus on my genital/leg area. It itches when it sweats mostly, and If I scratch skin will peal off. Also after drying will get kind of skalpy. What could it be?? How can I treat it?? I read somewhere I could use hydro cortizone ointment??

I noticed a red area on my penis

. No itching, no pain
It must have grown for months.
Saw my Primary

Dr. He prescribed Lamisil. Didn't work , told me to see a urologist
Went to a urologist, prescribed Mycoloc. Didn't do much
What can I do next.Dark red area is still the same size.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Treatment of fungal infections involves topical and oral antifungal medicines. Most cases of fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral. Also wear cotton clothes and try to keep the area as dry as possible.
If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
