this has been  as a result of an accident I had which caused my left two fingers to go numb and my question is if I have any kind of allergic reaction to this shot which will be done on my spine, what would happen?

Cortisone is used to treat allergies.  It doesn't cause them.  There may be possible hazards to getting such a shot, and you should ask the doctor who's going to do the procedure to spell them out.  Then you can make a reasonable decision.

Best.
