Groin area rash

Over the last few months I have been fighting a very annoying rash around my inner thighs and genital area. Started off as slight discomfort while sitting and walking, turned into a bunch of red spots that developed around inner thigh areas (both at same time), and has turned into red & irritated scrotum (with a normal patch down the middle) and re-occurring development of the red spots on the inner thighs. Steroid creams seem to eliminate the red spots on the thighs, but the discomfort and irritation on the scrotum/and area between the anus and scrotum is always lingering.
Doctors have had me on three or four different types of anti-fungal creams, different steriod creams and it will not end. Any ideas? It takes forever to get into a dermatologist and I’m at the end of my rope with this. Thanks

this is not std - your profile name I suppose is a clear indication why you’d think this first. Not itchy - so no likely scabies. No blisters - so not herpes - and it looks nothing like a syphilis rash - which would likely appear on hands or feet anyways and there was never a chancre.

Check for scabies?

Also, it's probably not this, but get blood tests for herpes, syphillis, and other STDs.
