Hair loss due to weak hair roots causing baldness

Dear Sir,
Im a 24 year old girl. I had been suffering from hair loss since past 8 years. My scalp is clearly visible when I comb or oil my hair. My hairs, now, are very thin, weak rooted and falling out continuously. I dont have dandruff that falls on shoulders rather whenever I scrap my scalp some white flakes or scales come in my nails. My hairs dont break from the shaft, they break with the root, indicating weak roots. My hair fall increases to a very high extent while I am under stress or tension. I have applied and taken different medicines and oils but none suited me. Would you please email me the answer? Kindly HELP ME !

Regards,
Worried.

I regrew my hair and you can too. -I've been bleaching my hair on and off since forever. My hair wouldn't grow any longer it would just snap off. I've dreamed about having thick, long hair. And when I say dreamed, I mean it quite literally. So i decided to do something about it. My friend suggested Biotin when we were talking about my hair loss.
I’ve tried like 4 different brands until i found that the best one for me. Now i’m 26 and I've been taking Biotin every day for years.  My hair and nails grow SO much quicker. Hair has increased in the rate and are so long now.
Also my energy levels are high. I remember that at the beginning i did heavy cardio and interval training which helped me lose weight fast but i did not realize how biotin played a part in my weight loss until AFTER i stopped working out. I continue to take biotin every day and now that I am no longer on my diet i eat whatever i want and i don't gain weight. It appears the biotin may be keeping my metabolism to the level it was at during my training. So i highly recommend it to you.

I'm a 15 years old girl and have the same problem for 1 year and a half but when I comb my hair or run my fingers lightly to it, it hurts a lot on my roots and hair start to fall out. I don't know what causes that problem but hope that you do have a solution. I've gone to a lot of dermatologists and they gave me tons vitamins, keratin, and even shampoo but I still haven't see any difference.

Please help. My hair has always been my pride and ******* joy. I figured since it is pretty damn healthy, it could deal with some bleach damage. And I figured the master stylist who did all the color-corrections would know how much would be too much. I was wrong, and now I want to burst into tears every time I look at my hair or touch it. I just don't know what to do. my hair has also NEVER been shorter than this and it breaks and falls out. What should i do to regrow hair?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Hair fall is a physiological phenomenon due to the natural course of life of a hair. A hair falls after it has grown up and entered the later part of its growth (called the telogen phase). As different hairs in the body are in different phases of their growths at a given time, few of then fall daily a normal routine. Sometimes, more hairs enter into the telogen phase at the same time and fall with obvious note by the person.

At other times, it may be due hair disorder or some other underlying disease. So, the causes for excessive hair fall may be physiological or pathological and include hormonal changes, fungal infection, physical effects (traction, heat, chemicals), psychological & stress-related reasons, thyroid disorders, iron deficiency anemia, excessive intake of Vitamin A, hereditary reasons etc. I suggest you to take opinion of a Dermatologist who will do a methodical medical check-up and advice accordingly.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
