Hand Foot Mouth confusion

Ok I am a 20 year old male and a couple of days ago I noticed some red bumps on my palm. Its kind of like they are under the skin and they are sensitive to the touch. I have about 4 or 5 of the red bumps on my hand. I today I noticed a red bump on my penis. I had read online that this disease can cause the bumps on the genitals. I am usure what my concerns should be. I haven't had sex with anyone recently and haven't ever had any symptoms like this. I guess my questions are do you think this is that disease or virus and if so how long does it take to go away and is there anything I can do about it. Thank you

To be honest, I'm not sure what these bumps represent, or even whether the bump on the penis is part of the same problem.  However, none of this sounds serious or sexually-transmitted.  I advise you to wait two weeks and show the spots to a doctor then, unless they have disappeared by then, which they probably will.

Best.

another thing I forgot to add is if it is this virus do the bumps keep appearing or do they all come at once because the bump on my penis came a couple of days later
