Pictures, and descriptions really don't help with an online forum- when you go to your doctor they will ask specific questions about your medical history (probably more in depth then you would want to answer here)- so while the additional information helps, we can't tell you for sure what the rash is.  Is there Urgent Care facility where you are traveling?  If you noticed that it's worse with the Summer heat, it could be caused by the heat and your clothing rubbing- if that's the case, keep the area as clean and dry as possible and it should begin to heal.  You can try the cream, but if it gets worse with use- stop using it.

I didn't look at the photo since 'diagnosing' from a photo is never a good idea.  It's also hard to guess what a rash could be based off of a post stating the location of the rash and not much else.  You really need a doctor to give you an in person exam and gather more of your medical history to tell you the cause of the rash.  Get into your doctor- feel better soon!
