Hypopigmentation near upper lip

So about 2 weeks ago I came home from helping my grandma with her garden and I noticed that there was a small, circular white spot on my skin right by my upper lip. I'm hoping this is just a simple case of hypo pigmentation that can be resolved with the help of a dermatologist but could it be the beginning of Vitiligo? I really hope not but I'm kinda scared that it is. I really need some help with this. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hello,
It does not look like vitiligo and should become better with time. Sometimes it goes away on its own after exposure to the sun. If it persists, spreads or you notice any new spots then you should get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi Doctor,
I'm so sorry for such a late response but I've been very busy. Now over the past couple weeks I've managed to fit in a few visits to the dermatologist. Now they say it isn't vitiligo and that it should clear up on its own, and if its gets worse come back in and they will start me on some sort of lotion. But I have a question, is there any correlation between Lexapro (which I am currently taking but have stopped doing so) and skin pigmentation? Thanks again for the help.

Application of almond oil or Vitamin E should help. Hi Doctor,
So I seen a dermatologist today and he basically said the same thing you did. That the pigment should come back. But I forgot to ask him is there any thing that could help speed the process.
