I think ACV burned the surrounding skin of my rectum

Three weeks ago I discovered a bump on the outer rim of my anus. I figured it was from a slip of my razor when shaving from the night before. I did some research and I came to the conclusion that it had to be A) a external hemmroid or B) a skin tag. I've been using medicated wiped with witch hazel and I looked up natural remedies to help resolve the problem and apple cider vinegar was one. I think I may have over done it because the skin surrounding the problem area has become raw and red. I was wonder what I should do to treat this and/or both problems.

I would stop using the vinegar and witch hazel now- you want to keep the area clean if there is an irritation, but you can use a mild cleanser.  See how you do with just stopping the treatment- as far as if you think you have a hemorrhoid or skin tag- get to a doctor for the best treatment for those, since at home remedies have irritated the area.

I did exact same thing trying to treat a small hemorrhoid and the itching . I didn't know I should dilute it and have a nasty burn and in so much pain. What did you ever do to feel better? I'm sorry this happened to you. It's awful!
