Irregular skin around head of penis

Two months ago I had unprotected sex. Several days later I began to notice some irregularity in the skin around the head of my penis. I'm still unsure how to describe it. The skin is smooth to the touch but appears to have a rigid or scaly texture. When erected very tiny red bumps become visible in this area, but can not be seen otherwise. There is no pain, itching, pus, etc. I've seen one doctor already who didn't think it was anything to worry about, but I am still uncertain. My partner says that she was tested before and after we were together and has no stds. Any idea what it could be, or am I overreacting?

Thank you for the quick response, but (based on a quick google search) I'm pretty sure it is none of those things. I have submitted an image with the original post (since the condition is hard to describe) but it says it is still awaiting admin approval.

Hello,

It looks like you are talking about Fordyce spots which are present normally on penis. Fordyce spots are small, bright red or purple papules that can appear on the glans, shaft or scrotum and usually affect younger men. They may occur as a solitary lesion, but frequently appear in crops of 50 to 100. They are painless and not itchy, but may cause embarrassment because of their appearance. They may bleed if injured or even during intercourse.

Other possibilities are of hair follicles and pearly penile papules.they are also present normally. So pls don’t worry about them.

If there is any associated itching or pain or if they start growing in size then molluscum or warts have to be ruled out.Otherwise all the three that I have mentioned above are normally present and do not require any treatment.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.
