MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Petichiae are due to minute hemorrhage of blood below the skin. It is one of the findings in many disease condition and sometimes may occur due to skin trauma also. Petechiae in this instance are harmless and usually disappear within a few days. However if they persist then other causes especially vasculitis should be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
