Itch turns into bruise on leg

I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer on 21 Dec 2017 I have had various moles removed since and told they are pretty certain it was caught early enough.
2 nights ago I had an extremely itchy leg for about 30 mins I was convinced something must have bit me but couldn't see anything it then stopped and I didn't think anything more about it until today I looked at my leg and the same area now has a big bruise.
Has anyone else ever experienced this or am I just being paranoid and its totally unrelated?

Just wanted to see how you were doing- has the bruise healed up?  Were you able to get it checked out?

It could totally be nothing, but given the history, I'd say it's worth your peace of mind to just have a doctor check you out.
