Itching Scalp

Hello PPl.
I am writing because I have the following problem:
My scalp, that means mostly the back part of my scalp is itching, If i dont wash my hair 1-2 days its worse, occasionally I get an pus-filled bump that is painfull. The same things happens to my scrotum, the colour is somewhat darker in the part that itches, I also get bumps here too.I tried many antimicotics including miconazole, clotrimazole, nizorale, even oral antimicotics, didnt help. May folliculitis(staph??)  itch? What would be the cure in this case?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to tinea capitis and the bumps can be due to perifolliculitis which is again caused by a fungal infection. Ringworm is a fungal skin infection that occurs on the face, body or scalp. The symptoms of Ringworm or Tinea Capitis include a dry itchy scalp, scaling, crusting, inflamed nodules, hair loss and tender enlarged lymph nodes on the neck.

Please consult a dermatologist and get it evaluated.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
