Itchy Anus

Hi,

24 yr old fem have over the past 2-3 days had strange annoying feeling near anus. Its not itchy or changed in appearance its more annoying. Any one have any ideas what the cause could be or what it is??

Hello,
There are many causes of anal itching like yeast infections,hamorrhoids,pinworms,anal fissures, skin tags, psoriasis etc. It is important to clean and dry the anus thoroughly and avoid leaving soap in the anal area. A complete history and clinical examination is essential for correct diagnosis and management. See a doctor. Treatment will depend on the cause.
