Itchy burning swollen lips

For about a year and a half I have had outburst of itchy, red, burning, swollen lips. This happens once every one or two months. It is very painful and hurts to even smile. I wake up in the morning with the skin on my lips flaking off. It starts out looking as if my lips have lost their color....with tiny tiny tiny white bumps on the upper AND lower lips. Then it begins to turn red, ooze, burn, and itch. This can last for up to a week and a half. I have vitiligo (an autoimmune skin pigment disorder). Vitiligo is linked to raynaud's disease (an autoimmune disease that deals with the circulation of the blood). My mother refuses to take me to the doctor and acts like she is a doctor. She keeps trying to diagnose me with Raynaud's disease and tells me I'm. Just going to have to live with it for the rest of my life. She doesn't want to spend money on me for a doctors appointment. I've tried taking vitamins and eating less acidic food and avoid lipstick. I use Vaseline daily and still get these terrible outbursts and I stay hydrated. I know it's not linked to chapped lips or dehydration. Nothing is working and I'm at my breaking point. It's embarrassing and painful. I would really appreciate and wisdom and advice. Thanks

that to me doesn't sound like Raynaud disease, I get a similar thing however my lips go all gooey with white "dead skin" instead of lumps I use Vaseline and a lip scrub, I was told by the doctor to try to reduce the dry skin and to avoid over hydrating my lips and just Mt body instead which meant keeping away from lip balms that werent "real", also try eating salty things when you  get it, it will hurt like hell but it'll heal it, I hope this helps, I know how embarrassing lip problems can be
