Itchy legs every time I shave

Okay, so every time I shave, my legs get crazy itchy almost the moment I get out of the shower. The itching lasts anywhere from a day to three or four days, and as far as I can see, there are no bumps involved. The itching is so bad that I've made myself bleed before, and my skin is frequently raw. I've tried using hair removers, sensitive skin shaving cream, and lotion afterward. So far, nothing has worked, and it seems to get worse as time passes. What can I do to stop it? Please help me! I only shave when I absolutely have to now, because it's really horrible. Also, I can shave my underarms with no problem.

Try shaving with hair conditioner. Apply a thin layer and shave away.  It may clog up the razor a bit but its worked for me in the past,
Good luck

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello ,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis or allergic reaction to the shaving razor creams. As much as possible avoid persistent scratching or rubbing of the skin. Long fingernails are always a no-no as it can cause skin damage with scratching. Use non-allergenic soaps and then apply soothing skin lotion to provide smoothness and cooling effect. You can also apply calamine lotion.

Cold compresses can alleviate the discomfort cause by the skin itch. Do not expose the affected area with too much heat or moisture.

You can take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. Also apply some Corticosteroids, such as hydrocortisone cream on the itchy areas. A well-balanced diet that includes carbohydrates, fats, minerals, proteins, vitamins, and liquids will help to maintain skin health. Also try getting waxing or laser hair removal done instead of shaving.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
