Itchy scrotum after sex

In the last month or so, it seems like every time my wife and I have sex, I develop a very itchy scrotum after about a day. This lasts a couple of days, and so far I have not treated it with anything. There are no aparent sores after examining myself this morning, but my scrotum is definetly red, although this may be the result of my scratching it last night in bed. My wife had an IUD implanted about a month ago, not sure if that may have anything to do with it. She is not on her period and to my knowledge is not having a yeast infection (I don't notice anything unusual or any unusual smells). Please help. This itching is driving me nuts!

if  one can use warm water added  little bit of salt just less of salt to make water have that salty taste and uses a warm clean white cotton cloth  to clean the penis.
at times the itchy may come with a waxy white form membrane that lays on top of the penis but beneath the scrotum.

Hi,
This could be an allergic reaction caused maybe even by friction. The irritation can be manifesting as redness and itching.

You can take oral anti-histamines like Loratidine but it will show results after a couple of days.

Also apply Calamine lotion or a menthol/camphor containing cream on the affected akin to soothe the area.

Avoid further friction/irritation till the rash subsides.
