Why are my mosquito bites lasting over a month?

Just over a month ago I went to a party in a backyard. The next morning I woke up and noticed about 8-10 mosquito bites on my ankles (I was wearing shorts). I then noticed as they days went on I had more and more bites before I realized I had them all over my body. It's incredibly itchy and now it's been over a month. I've had many mosquito bites in my life but they've never lasted this long! Should I be concerned?

Sounds more like bed bugs....look at your mattress at the seams for signs of the bugs....black spots and possible red spots.....there is a way to rid your home of these and they can multiply so do make sure you clean everything well.

you might be allergic to the bites, but it also can be another thing. Do you have any other symthoms?

They still aren't gone... And my body just feels achy and sore. I kind of feel like I have a bit of the flu?

Are you sure it's not chicken pox? A month would be abnormally long for them, but it sounds very possible.

Thank you for your response. I have never had chicken pox, but I have had all the vaccinations.
