So, I first noticed my symptoms about 4 weeks ago. There was a soreness/slight pain on either side of the base of my penis. This changed slightly to a soreness in the testicles, kinda moving from one to the other from time to time. I waited a week and saw my GP who put me on a ten day antibiotic, and did blood urine and bacterial. The idea being a likely infection of one of various things down there. So, slight improvement, but overall symptoms didn't go away. All the tests come back clear. There was also a physical exam, no lumps hernias, nothing the doctor noticed.
Went to urologist, another physical exam, different antibiotic this time 30 days this one stronger too, it's been about 10 days and symptoms are about the same. Mostly just the pain around the base. Where this comes into the dermatology area, I have psoriasis as well as having had ring worm in the immediate past ( I train mma 6 days a week ) There is a rash around the base of the penis and the urologist mentioned it as a possible cause. I had assumed it was just psoriasis and I actually don't know much about that, having self diagnosed myself with that years ago. I get the spots that come and go, right now I have a small section under my arm. I will say that the rash is in the area where the pain is... I have been to the urologist twice and I will keep going to doctors until I can get a handle on this, but what are the odds a rash can be causing this? Is an uncomfortable visit to the dermatologist my next step, or ultrasound ( the urologist doesn't think this is going to show anything ).
It's been almost a month and I would very much like to have some answers!
