Little pus filled bump on my left groin turned into a patch of elastic skin

I had this little bump on mt left groin, that popped and pus came out along with blood. This happened once more like 2 months later, but then after that the skin where the bumps were turned into an elastic layer of skin, which is concerning me. Pleas I need some help.

the skin is like a darker tone, and is feels very thin, and underneath it it feel hollow, like there is a piece of flesh missing.

Hi.

This sounds like a boil or a folliculitis which are both caused by a bacterial infection. As for the skin being "more elastic", would you be able to elaborate more on this?

I suggest that you have this assessed by your dermatologist. You may need oral antibiotics for this. Wash the area with a mild antibacterial soap. Also, refrain from touching or manipulating the area. These type of infections may be transmitted through direct skin to skin contact.If the bump affects a hair follicle, then this is likely to be folliculitis. Your physician may culture the discharge to help guide treatment.
