although I can't tell you what it is or might be because I'm not a doctor, i want to suggest that you get a second opinion from a dermatologist. If the treatment she received from her doctor only gave her temporary relief then you should definitely see someone else in hopes that they know or can figure out what she's got and how to fully treat it.
best of luck and I hope she gets better soon
MY DAUGHTER WAS JUST DIAGNOSED WITH PLEVA (THERE ARE PICTURES ON DIFFERENT SITES IF YOU SEARCH IT ON THE INTERNET) I CAN'T SEND A PICTURE, BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT LOOKS SIMILAR TO CHICKENPOX AT SOME STAGES AND JUST LIKE SMALL BUMPS OR BLISTERS, LIKE YOU MENTIONED AT OTHER STAGES. HERS WILL GO AWAY AND THEN COME BACK OR WILL ALMOST CLEAR UP AND NEW ONES FORM. THIS IS AN UNCOMMON CONDITION I HAVE FOUND OUT AND SOME DOCTORS JUST DON'T KNOW ABOUT IT. IT HAS TO BE DIAGNOSED BY HAVING IT BIOPSIED. I KNOW IT OCCURS PRIMARILY IN CHILDHOOD AND LASTS FOR VARIOUS AMOUNTS OF TIME. JUST THOUGHT YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK IT OUT. THIS IS NEW TO ME SO I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF INFORMATION (I AM STILL LEARNING MYSELF). ANY CHANCE THAT SHE RECENTLY HAD VARICELLA VACCINE??
sry that is a website with a pic of what pleva looks like. hope it helps
if you can send me scaned thump impression of you and your partner husbend/wife i shall de-code the child's constitution and give you the directions what, where ,when, how?( www.equations.org.in)
the site will give you more informations.
