My dark skin

I have been having these dark, rough and hard , somewhat peeling and very permanent looking dark skin at the both corners of my mouth, on either side of my lips, that is.
It has been there for the past one month or so.
The dermatologist i consulted prescribved me a tube of Isotrex, which did peel off my upper epidermis, yet the dark skin is still there. I need help.
My skin is that of oily type, with large pores and acne scars. I am prone to acne.
I have no skin disease or past health records or disorders.
I work out irregularly and opt for fasat food regularly.

I need some help wihtout buying expensive medicines and surgery.
