Night rash

On monday, at night my arms started to get itchy, and then I noticed there were little bumps on them.
It wasn't an uncontrollable itch, just a bit annoying. I went to sleep and yesterday in the morning they were gone. However, last night the bumps and the itch returned, again, nothing intense, without any other symptoms, I didn't have pain or fever, sweating or something.
What can it be? I'm not worried, but yeah...I'm kind of afraid the bumps will return tonight, even though this morning there's nothing in my arms. Any help would be really appreciated.

Today is August 13, 2016 and I'm writing because I have the itchy palms and fingers. For about 2 weeks now it's been horrible and I did notice that sometimes it starts when I touch something cold, like a bottle of water from the frig, however it just starts out of the blue at times. It itches and I can't scratch it hard enough to ease the itch. It goes from my palms to my fingers, all sides and doesn't go away until I wash my hands under hot water. They itch so bad they start to feel hot and they're red even before itching but no bumps, rash, nothing, just an irritating itch that won't go away. I'm calling my doc on Monday, can't take this any more. Good luck to all!!!

Did you ever find an answer? For the past two weeks I have had the same symptoms as you at night. I'm seeing a derm in two weeks but I'm starting to get a bit desperate.

Thank you very much, for welcoming me and for answering :)
I'll try what you recommended me, hopefully the bumps will be gone with the treatment.

Hi Little cake and welcome. try using some uncented and hypoallergitic body cream. Get a good one not the cheap type. For now you have to get the affected area to heal as the skin cells are being hurt so to speak.
get an over the counter 1% cortizone cream not oitment. apply as directed. Unless you get the area to heal, it will return as now the cells are inflamed. This could take a few weeks to clear up
