Numbing sensation

2 days ago I noticed some itching on my left breast under my armpit. I thought it was the seam on the tank top I was wearing. Since then I have had some pretty severe itching/numbing/tingling sensation on the top of my left breast that goes all the way around to my left shoulder blade. There is no rash, but I am really concerned because I have never felt this before in my life. I am 37 years old and I just started my mentrual cycle today. I thought it may have something to do with that, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I noticed some itchy bumps on my left calf now but still no rash where the numbing sensation is. It seems like the numbness has lightened up a little but it in not gone by any means. I appreciate the feedback, as you can imagine I am thinking the worst.  I have a Dr appt on Thursday.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to initiation of shingles. The first sign is usually a tingling feeling, itchiness, or stabbing pain on the skin. After a few days, a rash appears as a band or patch of raised dots on the side of the trunk or face. The rash develops into small, fluid-filled blisters which begin to dry out and crust over within several days. When the rash is at its peak, symptoms can range from mild itching to extreme and intense pain.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
