Painful blisters on hand?

About 5 days ago little bumps showed up just below my pinkie and ring finger. The rapidly grew into a row of painful blisters that seem far under my skin (I know this as I poked holes into them to see what would come out). They only contain clear pus. The area and my pinkie and ring finger are also warm and sore, and a pain almost like having arthritis. My doctor didn't know what they were, but prescribed me 5 days of antibiotics. I'm on the 3rd day of antibiotics now and there is no change. Any help to what these are? They're causing pain to shoot through my fingers and wrist, so I'd be glad to get rid of them!

I have had a blister on ring finger and middle finger next to the nail for 6-7 months on my left hand..  I am right handed.  My reg. doc took a sample of the fluid  from them.  It showed nothing.  They fill up with fluid and get painful and then loose the fluid and go for another couple of days or so and they do the same thing all over again.  I have tried lemon juice, perioxide, alcohol, Neosporin, and Triamcinolone Acetonide.  I haven't changed makeup, anything different from what I have been doing all along.

Can enyone give me an idea of what might get rid of these blisters??

Thanking you in advance.  Karen Scott

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These painful blisters can be due to pompholyx or herpetic whitlow. Herpetic whitlow is caused by infection by HSV-1 or HSV-2. Symptoms of herpetic whitlow include swelling, reddening and tenderness of the skin of infected finger or toe. Small, clear vesicles initially form individually, then merge and become cloudy.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
