Patchy red itchy painful lips

Okay so about a week ago I noticed that my lips were getting chapped from the corners of my mouth. Thinking that it was happening due to the weather (it's constantly cold & snowy) I just applied regular ChapStick.  Just this week I noticed that it started to spreas on my bottom lip and corners of mouth. Now I have very painful red patches around my lips that ooze out liquid and are extremely dry and itchy. The pain wakes me up and the only thing that stops it is if I pour some cold water over them or if I apply something cold. I don't know what it could be I never had this before I don't know if it's chelitis or angular chelitis or if it's eczema (ive had eczema all my life)  but I'm just tired & frustrated because it hurts so bad.

What you are describing could be any of the possible conditions you mentioned or more- to get an accurate diagnosis, you need to see your doctor for an exam so they can check it out and gather more of your medical history.  Hope that it gets better soon, I'm sure that isn't comfortable!
