Peeling Hands or Peeling Feet after 5 day fever?

My 21 daughter had very red shiny palms and bottoms of feet for 7-14 days which was painful to hot/cold temp changes and she could not stand for long periods in one spot due to pain on bottoms of her feet.  Blood tests were ran and all was fine for inflamation, thyroid, infection, etc...and gave her a wk schedule of prednisone to eliminate pain. Possibly thought to have raynauds, administered norvac (sp?), however, she's since quit taking that at her own disgretion. Then she ended up w/influenza symptoms w/in a week after prednisone. On the 4th day of her fever, which ran 5 days 101-103 w/some drop to 99-100. Her hands had started peeling. Now - approx 2 wks after her hand had started peeling, her feet are now peeling.  What kind of virus could this be?  I heard of something like viramelegia.  I cannot spell that and I can't remember for sure exactly how that was pronounced.  What do you think?

My cousin had something like this when we were just little kids.  I can't remember if it was Scarlet Fever or Rheumatic Fever, but I remember something like this happening to her.

You have not mentioned your daughter’s age. If your daughter is a child then the possibility of rocky mountain spotted fever, Kawasaki disease and scarlet fever are there. Rash in all these involves the palms and soles and is a red, shiny rash. Investigations and blood tests are needed to confirm the diagnosis.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
