Peeling penis skin

Hi

Recently I was diagnosed with genital warts and I had the warts frozen and they have not come back yet since. Since then, I have been dealing with a horrible peeling skin on my penis. The skin gets real flakey and peels off. It is as if the top layer of skin just won't heal on my penis. This has been going on for a few months now. I consistently see a dermatologist for treatment and to make sure that there are no warts and he has yet to be able to help me with this problem. I experience a lot of pain when the skin peels off like this. It gets worse upon masturbation or sex. It could start with just a couple flakey pieces of skin and i will peel them off so that my penis isn't covered in half grown skin and they just continue to peel. Recently it has been happening around the tip of my penis and it is very painful and sensitive to touch, water, and lotion even. Please give me any advice as to how to heal the skin and prevent this from reoccurring. It is not exactly something that is flattering and it has caused me to nearly never have sex with my girlfriend because it causes me pain. Needless to say, it is destroying our relationship.

This discussion is related to Dry/flaky skin on Penis head that peeled off and isn't healing - please advise.

I had a similar problem too.  I started using a penis health creme and it really helped me out a lot.  A creme that contains Vitamin E will work wonders for your skin down there.  Good luck.

I had a similar problem and it lasted quite a long time.(3 months) I had only had sex with one girl and she had only been with me. I decided to try the yeast infection cream that women use, It's uncommon for men to show symptoms of a yeast infection but that is what I believe this is. in order to get better I had to apply the cream a few times daily for between 2 weeks and a month during that time I would limit any masturbation and sex, if you can't handle it, make sure to rinse your penis thoroughly afterwards DRY and apply the cream. (yeast thrives in an un treated damp environment so it is something to avoid)

this will help and eventually the problem should go away. make sure that you keep an eye out for the symptoms starting again and catch it early.
