Penile Yeast Infection?

Hello,

After unprotected sex with my girlfriend, i went home and noticed small red bumps on the head of my penis. I am uncircumsised so when i peel down, there are red rashes there, and for some reason if i rub the skin(take a shower and clean it) it looks like its rubbing off. It has been a week and bumps are still prestn, but less noticible. I have red so many articles on the net, and i think it is a penile yeast infection. But i am not sure...Could you please help me?

That's what happened to me. I thought it was condom irritation... Turns out I have a yeast infection and have been treating it with Monistat 7....     You can also try extra virgin coconut oil and tea tree oil.  Both helped for me, but the Monistat 7 seems to work better.

Hi,

This could be due to acne/imples/ or infection of the hair follicles called folliculitis or some bacterial infection/ fungal infction or some skin nodules etc.

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

It would be best to reconsult your doctor about your symptoms if they do not resolve and get a proper clinical examination.

Keep the area clean and wear clothes washed in a few drops of chlorhexidine preferably and dried in the sun.

You could take oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications for the itching.

Let us know about what your doctor advises.

Regards.

This could be a yeast infection or something more serious like an STD.
I suggest you do two things:
Have your doctor check it out.
Try using 1% clotrimazole cream
