Penile growth/rash

Hey Dr.
I had a "wart" on the tip of my penis that runs along the opening that had been looked at by 3 different doctors over a course of about 8 months, and they did nothing about it.  Some of the doctors told me it was a skin tag.  Well I went to a uroligist that said it was a wart and used cryotherapy to get rid of it.  Well its been 2 months now and the area he sprayed (he sprayed normal skin too) is really raw and looks red/pink like its scarring or may have scarred  having no change in the appearance of the wart/skin tag.

Either way Im not concerned about the growth in question anymore, because the area he sprayed looks horrific in comparison.  My first question is, can I put anything on it to try and help it heal?  Also when I am erect the opening of my penis actually is open about the width of a nickel, very gross looking, but does not happen when it is wet in shower or lotion on it during masturbation, I am sure it wasn

lol. I took when he said the 'width of a nickel' to mean the width of the side of it, not imagining it could be as big as the diameter.
I would try aloe on the skin. A pure aloe, not the junk you buy at walmart. Or a product called Skn Savr that helps a lot with dryness. You can find it on the internet. Or cocoa butter, which would be a good alternative to lotion for masturbation, while softening the skin and giving it some protection from rubbing on your underwear.
For the skin tag, you could tie a piece of string around the base, cutting off the oxygen and blood supply to it, causing it, hopefully, to drop off; or, if it IS a skin tag, and you know that for sure, freeze the area and cut it off. Apply capsicum [cayenne pepper] to stop the bleeding. it won't burn, it only burns mucous membranes.

1.  Cryosurgery (freezing) can't cause permnent damage.  I advise keeping the area mosit with bacitracin ointment every day and leaving it otherwise alone.
2.  A urethral opening "the size of a nickel" is a phenomenon I have never seen and can barely picture.  It doesn't sound dangerous, but I advise consulting a urologist, perhaps not the first one.
3.  Redness and scaling that responds to neither hydrocortiosne or ketoconazole is probably just dryness.  Try keeping the skin mosit with vaseline or the equivalent.  If it gets worse or becomes symptomatic (itch, burn), ask a skin doctor to have a look.

I agree with you that what's left of the skin tag is best just ignored.

Best.
