Picked At A Mole!

Hi,

I have had a mole on the left side of my face (just below my mouth) since I was a child. In the last few years, it became raised and sprouts a single hair.

I made a big booboo and squeezed the mole because I thought I saw a black head in it (I think now that it might have just been a hair root or something).

It bled, and now it looks nearly flat, and it is scabbling (which I can't help but pick at). the hair is still growing out of it, and there is a tiny dot remaining of the original mole, just around the hair.

My question is, have I scratched it off? Will it grow back?

I'm curious how things healed for you 9 years out?  I have a similar experience and would love to know.  Thanks.
