Pimpe / Zit on the inside of scrotum?

Hi, I'm getting pretty worried, however I have a doctors appointment on monday. Yesterday I noticed what could be a lump on my right side of the scrotum. It's inside, and seems to be connected and attached to the "wall" of the scrotum. It could look like a zit, but as said, it's on the inside, and I'm too afraid of popping it. I took a picture of it, even though it isn't the nicest thing to show. Can anyone tell me what this could be? I haven't had sex with my girlfriend for a month (long distance relationship), and the only she had sex with before that was with a virgin as well, so there can't be any sexually transmitted diceases (at least not sexually transmitted). It only hurts when pressed on, or squeezed on, and it's not attached to either of my testicles, as I can "grab" it from the inside, as in, I can touch all the way around it without it hurting. It pretty much came from one day to the other. As said, I've attached a picture of it, so if anyone could help me calm down a bit, it'd be great. Thanks.

As an update to this, around Christmas to new-year, it grew smaller, and stopped hurting, it did this, but kept being there until about the 15th of January, where it started to grow bigger again and started to hurt again. I thought "screw this", and went away with using to thumbs to squeeze the zit. In a huge drop of puss and blood it's now gone (yes, it WAS very disgusting, but I felt it was needed), and there's absoloutly nothing wrong now (20th of January).

I'm going to leave for now. Thanks for your help and goodbye.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like infected hair follicle or a sebaceous cyst. A sebaceous cyst is a closed sac occurring just under the skin which contains keratin. They may occur anywhere on body but scalp, ears, back, face, and upper arm, are common sites for sebaceous cysts. Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected, then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I've just been to the doctors, and he assured me it was just a pimple/zit, and it'll dissapear just like they normally do on for example the face etc. I'll leave this here so others won't panic in case something like this happens to them.
