How to Get Rid of Scars on Penis

So about 4 years ago I broke out with a patch of painful blisters on the top of my penis shaft. Before this I was diagnose with Herpes Simplex 1 in my eyes so I was prescribed Acyclovir which is an all around herpes medicine. So I decided to take them for the blisters as I was very sure that the blisters were herpes after doing a LOT of research. Within a couple days of taking the pills the blisters went away. Every once in a blue moon the area will start to itch and I can see small bumps start to appear, so once this happens I take my pills and apply hydrocortisone cream to it and they go away, all the great things to live with when you have herpes... But anyways, onto my question: Ever since the initial breakout, It has left scaring which looks just like a darker patch of skin, it really isn't that noticeable to others (well at least no one has said anything) but it is very noticeable to me and I would like to get rid of it and have my nice even skin color back. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this scaring? Is regular scar removal creams and remedies okay to use on my penis? Thanks for your help!

Vitamin E oil is a pretty safe option that is supposed to help scars fade- that said, your best bet to treating the scar is to ask your doctor for options.  Some scars won't be able to go away, and some can.

Hi,

Scar marks due to pimples are commonly seen. However, the intensity and spread of these marks may vary. The treatment options are therefore dependent on these factors.

Topical applications and cosmetic treatments are available for this. They may also be available OTC for some users. However, professional advise may be needed in some cases depending on extent of lesions.

Some of these include, appplications such as collagen, microdermabrasion etc..

Do let me know if you may have any other queries.

Regards.
