Pink/Red Skin Rashes on Chest (picture)

About 6 months ago I got a red circle just below my belly button. I treated it with a Jock Itch cream (think it was Ringworm) and it went away after a week.

Almost 2 weeks ago I got another red circle (slightly bigger about 5cm in diameter) above my belly button which looked remarkably similar to Ringworm. I did not treat it and a week ago noticed more red/pink rashes appear on my chest. They are not itchy at all and I would not call them scaly at all. They are also not flaking or anything. So I began applying the same Jock Itch cream twice daily for the past week. While the cream is applied the redness is diminished and the spots are less visible. If I touch them they actually disappear only to become visible again 10 minutes later. I have not seen any improvement or recession of the rashes this entire week.

This morning I forgot to apply the Jock Itch cream and came home at night to notice the spots redder and possibly having spread a little bit. At this point I took the enclosed picture. I've reapplied the Jock Itch cream and they are less visible now.

After some internet researching I'm puzzled as to if this is Ringworm or not. I'm leaning towards Pityriasis Rosea with the first Ringworm-like rash being the Herald patch which I'm pretty sure appear a couple of days before the rest but I'm not 100% on that.

Should I continue applying the anti-fungal Jock Itch cream? Should I try some cortisone based cream?

PS. The dark black/red small spots are moles I've had my entire life. There is no rashes above the nipples although the picture kinda makes it look like there is. All my rashes are in the picture. There is nothing on my arms/back/armpits/groin/neck/face etc.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello,
It looks like pityriasis rosea. Pityriasis rosea is a common human skin disease which presents as numerous patches of pink or red oval rash. The rash may be accompanied by low-grade headache, fever, nausea and fatigue and sometimes by itching.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
