Pink rash-like turns brownish then barely noticeable

My 5 year old daughter had about 7 pink little blotches (mosquito size but not raised) on the back of her neck that itched a bit just one time, turned light brown I applied triple antibiotic cream and it then became barely noticeable by day 3, but a bit dry. About 7 days later, you can still see the other marks, although barely and 2 larger pink patches appeared, in the middle of her back and although she didn't complain about itching, the same pattern followed. This coincided with an episode of impetigo on her back upper thigh for which she is currently taking antibiotics.I was wondering what this was.  The doctor saw the pink patches in the attached pictures once they were barely noticeable and said it was just dry skin and needed moisturizing.  I don't know if the rash and impetigo are related but I don't believe it is just dry skin even though we are experiencing extremely hot weather in Puerto Rico.

Allergies may show an increased eosinophil count, infections neutrophilia, and viral infections lymphocytosis.
While the condition above does not fit in with any, yet a routine routine test may be in order.
Best wishes.

Thank you for your comment, the blood count would be to verify what possible condition?

Possibly a bite reaction and nothing else. Also do not see any connection to the impetigo. If this recurs or becomes more you can get her blood counts done just to be sure.
Best wishes.
