Pityriasis Rosea or Ringworm? Torn between

Ok, to start, I am a 24 year old male. On september 19th, I spend the night at a friends house to help him move. That morning as we are moving, i feel a pinch on my neck, i don't think much of it, but i see the mark in the mirror & notice that its really red, figured I had been stung in the neck. Not allergic, I disregarded it. On the 28th, I stayed at a hotel for one night & stupidly slept on the floor for a brief period before leaving. It's now the 30th, I've by now noticed that i'm itching oddly like I've been bitten by bedbugs. After this went on for about 2 weeks, I began to get worried as it had spread everywhere, under my arms, neck, back, forearms, torso, inside the joints of my elbows, on the back of my hands & even on my face. I went to an appointment I set up at a free clinic as I have no insurance or money currently, on the 20th of October. I had the doctor there examine them, she took a light looked at me all over including my groin area where it started to spread down to my shaft, then asked me if I had heard of Pityriasis Rosea. Obviously I did, as I tend to look everything up before doing anything else. As I expected, since she figured it was that, she told me the best thing I could do was, antihistamines for itching, hydrocortisone for topical..all the stuff I had already read about PR. I was fine with that, it takes a few weeks, I can stick it out. Before leaving, I went ahead & got tested, for Syphilis, HIV & Herpes & was also prescribed azithromycin & received a shot, the name I don't remember, because I also was experiencing discharge for sometime. I was told that it takes 1-2 weeks for results & that they would only contact me if something came back abnormal. 5 1/2 days down, no contact so I am hoping it stays that way. I assumed that pityriasis rosea couldn't be transfered to other parts of the body, but over the course of these days i've noticed that its not only fading in some areas, but spreading to others. This confuses me,  I thought PR starts to clear in the 4th-5th, maybe 6th week not get worse. Now I have noticed my fingers peeling on my thumb & middle finger on the same hand, which instantly made me think, Secondary Syphilis. I have been washing my hands like crazy & using a lot of sanitizer, maybe that's the problem with that, but I am freaking out. I physically feel alright but my skin is just scaring me. I plan on setting up a follow up appointment to have them re-examine my marks. I just want some peace of mind, I don't want to lay down knowing that i'm probably reinfecting myself because of a secondary infection or misdiagnoses. I currently can't afford much of anything as I lost my job, which I have been employed for years, a month ago. So after my story, what would any of you reading think?

Ringworm? PR? STD?

I have pictures. My groin area is starting to look affected pretty bad by this, top & sides of shaft up to the point of where I am cut(circumcised), pubic area, waist line, but I'm going to save those visuals for another appointment.

Please, if you feel that you can provide any input as to what this may be or what I can do so I can get on the right track to treatment, I am all ears.

if you live in europe or elsewhere, there should be free coverage, if in the state, you may apply for medi-caid or care depending on age and income level. If you hAVE enough money for insurance please get it and see a doctor asap.

Unlikely to be fungus from photographs, and pityriasis rosea does take a couple of months to clear in some.

Dude, I am SO sorry you are going through this! The one thing I can say with absolute certainty based on your pics and how it has spread is that this is fungal in nature. I had just about every damn fungi under the sun over the past 20 years or so and believe me, I know the frustration that comes from not being able to make a skin condition go away or find a Dr. that knows WTF he's talking about!

Take where you're at now and add 20 years- FUN!

Anyhoo, I bought an ebook at byebyefungi . com that completely transformed my life. It killed my Athlete's Foot, Ringworm, Nail Fungus and other fungal infections in friends. Oh and it did it all in just a few days.  I'd never even heard of this "cure" before and can't begin to tell you how huge a difference it has made for me!

As someone with no coverage, how can I go about getting PLC ruled out?
Also, can anyone verify that it's not ringworm? I just ran out of AF cream, i'm scared that if I go to sleep I might spread it onto more parts of my face or eyes.

If this IS P.Rosea, I am about 3-4 weeks in.

Need to rule out pityriasis lichenoides chronica (PLC). while it could still be P.Rosea.

I apologize for double posting, but if anyone knows something, please let me know, as I am not feeling well at the moment & it looks like its spreading after yesterday when I showered. I tried washing with a anti-dandruff shampoo (a suggestion regarding itching & PR), then applying dermasil lotion on one side of my torso & lotrimin anti fungal cream on the other to see a difference. The difference was smaller red dots appearing all over, everywhere in between the ones that were already there. I'm also tingling slightly & I feel hot. Anyone?
