Please help......

I have a dime sized patch of red and raised skin on the head of my penis.  Skin on the patch peels, but there is only very mild irritation.  Doctor diagnosed as fungal and prescribed Ketoconazole.  I've been applying it for two months.  No help.

It's more likely to be eczema or psoriasis.  Neither would respond to an antifungal.  Neither is serious or catchy.

Try over-the-counter hydrocortisone 1% twice a day while you wait for a doctor to see it.

Best.

The additional information is consistent with my reply.  I suggest you treat it as I suggested, and seek medical attention for definitive diagnosis.  And avoid unprotected sex!

Oh, and the redness is aggravated by soap and water.  Neosporin did nothing for it either.  Several instances of unprotected vaginal and oral sex from female acquaintance preceded this.

Finally, the patch has been evident in it's current state for approx. 3 months.  Sorry for so many posts.  This has me a little bit anxious.
