I had the same problem back in August, took 4 months to dissapear, i was very worried but it was an external hemorroid, I changed my diet, I start drinking much water and doing some exercise, try to use cotton underware since is common to start having humidity at that region, it was for me the most problematic problem. Try a proctologist to be 100% about you diagnosis. Good luck
Hello,
It can be a boil, abscess or an external hemorrhoid. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may include painful swelling or a hard lump around the anus which may itch. You can sit in a tub of warm water for 10 mins at least twice a day. Increase fiber in your diet. Eat lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, oats, porridge etc. Good sources of fiber are fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Treatment includes sclerotherapy, rubber band ligation, cryosurgery or Stapled Hemorrhoidectomy. I suggest you to get an evaluated from a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
